This project challenged us to select a book and create a title sequence adaptation. The book I selected was There’s a Wocket in My Pocket! by Dr. Seuss. For my concept, I wanted to make the movie adaptation created for an older group rather than kids. I created all of my own characters in Illustrator while using the book as inspiration. I added more “adult” directed details within the illustrations to nod towards vulgar comedy.

The process for this project started on paper as I drew our each character and element I wanted involved on paper before developing them in Illustrator. The rest of the project was executed in After Effects.
