For this project, we were challenged to incorporate animated graphics into live-action shots. I was inspired by Adult Swim and the iconic “bumps” they have in between shows and ads. Since it is something a person would watch in between TV shows I wanted it to almost poke fun at the fact that we sit on our couches and stair at a screen when the world is so big and beautiful. I wanted the TV to be personified and recognizing the laziness of the viewer and insist on showing them the world with a fun Adult Swim twist. I collected stock footage of popular landmarks around the world and incorporated fun characters into the scene.
