Piedmont Food Fest
Lead Designer
Piedmont Food Fest is a multicultural celebration held annually in the Bay Area, bringing together people through global cuisine, music, and community. As the designer for 2025, I expanded on last year’s logo to build a full visual experience across print, digital, and merchandise.
I created:
The main poster – featuring the Earth covered in Bay Area landmarks, playful characters, and signage from the fest. This piece was designed to reflect how the festival brings people together to experience cultures from around the world.
Large-scale signage including the stage banner and directional signs throughout the park
A full set of branded merch including tumblers, insulated tote bags, t-shirts, and stickers
A social media animation built in After Effects to kick off the announcement of this year’s vendors
As a volunteer, this project was a labor of love and my way of giving back to the community that raised me. Seeing attendees wearing the shirts, snapping pics in front of the stage, and engaging with the content online was a huge highlight—and reminded me how design can help create connection and celebration.
Check out the animation I created in After Effects featuring my food truck character! It kicked off our instagram slideshow announcing this year’s food vendors.
